RE: Utah's Big Five & Off-roading - Vehicles other than a Jeep?
Your Expedition will be fine on Shafer's Trail. We did it in our Grand Cherokee and highly recommend taking it. Also suggest starting up from Moab. Sorry...didn't do Burr Trail.

RE: I can’t be the only one with a poorly designed black tank.
Try using Unique RV Digest It which should dissolve the pyramids.

RE: Where are the snow birds ?
Maybe higher fuel and RV site price increases playing into it?

RE: AIRBAG LIFE
Reality is if you are going to keep the coach, probably a good idea to replace them.
Going to sell in the next year or so-- no.
A third option is to carry a spare front and rear and wait for a failure (probably on the side of the road).
I have had bags last over 10 years on dump trucks, and end-dumps. Much more severe duty than MH likely to get. When the guy that bought my '95 Pete dismantled it to build the Western Star kit he replaced the bags. 2 out of 4 where original. Over 3 million miles, and a lot of them running 95 PSI to carry the load.
IMHO it's kinda amazing they last as long as they do

RE: Flying J RV discount Card
Do a search here and type just "TSD". I have friends using it for their 5th wheel diesel pickups. Can get great discounts on diesel at TAs, Loves, Speedway etc. They also have a nice app to find best prices. I opened a separate bank acct for reimbursement. They have also been a good company to work with over the past 3.5yrs I've been using the fuel card.

RE: Ideas on selling Thousand Trails membership
Escapees, a full timer focused organization has a memberships section on their rvnetwork.com forum site to post memberships for sale. Might have success there.

RE: Brake system for 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
What kind of tow bars do you have? We have the ready elite tow bars with integrated mechanical brake. Nothing to install in the car and not invasive to electronics.
The Ready Brute Elite does require the installation of a cable from the brake lever on the tow bar to the brake pedal on the vehicle, but other than that it's a great system: we use it on our 2020 Jeep Gladiator and our 2022 Jeep Wrangler.
2X on the Ready Brute Elite.
It's a simple system that works. If you're handy, there's some excellent videos to help with installation and on the Roadmaster wiring (with diodes) on the Grand Cherokee. You'll have to take the front fascia of the GC off for the installation. Kinda scary at first especially since it was only months old when I did it. I drilled holes through the brake petal to connect the cables and feel it's a good way to do it.
